IG88 animation / skeleton problem? [Solved]

Post by Marvel4 »

Hi, I'm currently working on a Geonosis: Spire conversion and want to replace the magna guard with an IG assassin droid. I took the .msh and .tga from the BF1 assets and the animations from the BF2 assets. Ingame, he is perfectly scaled but the animations are... weird. It looks like he's hanging in the air moving just his head, arms and legs.

Anyone know how to fix this?

The IG-88 model should use the default human animations.

Yep, that's pretty much how he is. Nobody's built a correct skeleton to fix him.

YES, it works :D
I forgot to add this line:

Code: Select all

SkeletonName            = "ig88"
SkeletonLowRes          = "ig88"

>>>>>AnimationName = "ig88"
But his feet are a bit underground. How can I fix this?

And another question: How can I create a first person mode for IG-88?

What do you know, IG-88 does have a custom basepose after all. Must have overlooked it.

@Marvel4: Try adjusting the SkeletonRootScale and/or scaling the model up a bit via the .msh.option file. And:

Thanks! :D
First person mode works perfectly now!

Now, I just need to find a good value for SkeletonRootScale...

EDIT: 1.15 is perfect (all_inf_wookie uses the same)
