ARC Trooper Reinforcement

A new mod in progress that has a long way to go. So far the only thing done is the character skins. Check the readme and post ideas, pics below taken by my good friend Blackcurrent.

Nice! I have a proper ARC skin setup (where the skirts are black, like they should be) for yellow, blue, red, green, purple and I think orange if you'd like them.

Well, i've tried it out, but i think that you should change more, and the hero shouldn't be able to ride vehicles.

This Republic Gunship is just a re-skinned version of the original one...

Yeah, I know. I'm asking if anyone has it. Anyways I've stayed up all night and got some of their weapons underway. I just need the skirts and the gunship skins and the 2.0 version will be released. And I made it so the hero can't enter vehicles.

You could have also use LVL Extractor to get the Gunship's *.DDS texture out of its *.LVL file, and then, use a converter to get it in *.TGA file-format... :wink:

New update, look at the top of the page for the update.
EDIT: I am also trying to get a better clone commando into the game, does anyone now how to have the clonetrooper msh with a hothtrooper backpack msh on?

lol just hex-edit the pilot msh dude... that's what I used to make my commando on my elite units mod.

Another question, how do I emprove the emp grenades radius, like how far it spreads out.

Well, there aren't much changes, except for the skins. I don't find any major problems, so i think it's just looks better then before.
This Republic Gunship is just a re-skinned version of the original one
Actualy, if you play the special forces mod, there are some other changes. The beams are blur, the pilot primary weapon fires faster, the rockets fire in pairs etc. All of these changes where good, and i would be fun if you included them.

That is what I'm thinking, After I skinned and saw him, I now really want to play as him, he looks cool. I just don't know what to replace him with..... And who to replace.

What about using MORE than the regular count of units instead? :)

I actually think I once saw a pic of the 'select class' screen, where the 'selected' class was OUT of the screen :roll: so I believe its possible :P

on the other hand, what about having that 'Hero' as hero, but having many of him?
