Add Cloth Via Addon Mesh?
Topic is pretty self-explanatory. I have a player character with cloth, and it works just fine and dandy. The problem is, my player has a form of jet-pack and is able to zip around, which also works great. However, when in flight I don't want my unit to have the cloth, as it gets in the way of my custom effect. Due to the geonosion soldier, the easiest way to keep parts from appearing in flight is via addon mesh, since they disappear once flight is engaged. So, is there any way to add cloth to a unit on an addon mesh? Or if that won't work, is there another way to get rid of the cloth?

The only solution to this is to make the cloth a static model, similar to the cloth used in SWBF1. Then you can make it into an addon mesh.

Ah, I see. If I were to do this with say, a cape, there would be no way to make the cape ripple from movement, and the cloth would be stiff as the character rolled, right?

Ok, darn. I guess I'll have to rework my unit's flight plans...
