HEX-editing backpacks?

Post by 666rulerofclones »

i tired hex-editing the snowtroopers backpack to the armored pilot, but the pc_modelmunge gave me a diagnostic message that it had encountered a problem and needed to close while munging the model. i dont have a clue about this one, i got no errors whatsoever, and i got the classic warning that the model has no collision geomoetry and will be slow. i dont know if it is a mistake i made or what! please help!

EDIT: i think i may have it, munging now.

i think i may know what the problem was, i think it was a faulty .msh file, i accidentally overwrote the originaly engineer .msh for the republic (this belongs in the embarrassing modding mistakes topic). especially cause im gonna have to re-install my mod-tools  go ahead and do so rex.
