I have the Wii and a Wi-Fi -> Wired converter, but I've really only been able to play with select people in Nebraska and Florida, not even with people in my own state

lets race in mario kart wii....(looks at time)...ok,put your friend codes up and then we will see.we race at 5:00 E.T.if not....then thats ok.
