Settings problem with SWBFII [Solved]

Post by General_Nate »

Hey, I'm having a strange problem with BFII... Whenever I change an option, and reboot the game, the settings go back to the way they were before I changed it. Be it a video option, host option, or even single player game play option, they won't stay.

I'm tired of having to change everything every time I fire up BFII.

Does anybody else have the same experience, and/or know how to fix it? Thanks kindly.

You have to click accept at the bottom. If you don't, it will just go back.

Are you running it in Safe mode by chance?

... Yeah, I'm hitting the button. Thanks though.

... Why, by golly, I think you hit it on the nose! I upgraded my computer a while ago, and I forgot that I could run it without safe mode. (When my computer was old and lame, I could only run safe mode.)

Thanks for your help!
