If you use the fix you need to make a new map with visualmunge in data>build, your old ones won't receive the change. You also have to copy over the entire vistamungefix folder to your BF2_Modtools folder and run the .bat from there.

Okay, I figured it out.

I tried doing the whole process over on a separate computer and it works fine. The computer I am currently working on has a different Win7 operating system. I also found that when I unzip the mungefix on this computer the file structures are different, I don't know how that is.

I guess don't try modding on Win7 Home Premium and make sure files' structures are correct when downloading.
