Injury Region (like Polis Massa space)
How do I add a injury region? Like in Polis Massa, when you go outside, you get injured.
Also, where do you add a Death Region? I have placed aregion in ZE called deathregion, now ehere do I make it so you die?

I don't know much about death regions, but for injury regions as you call them (the proper name is damage region) you must first create a new region and then go over to property or something like that on the far right hand side of the screen. Change it to damage region and then set it the rates of damage that you want.

And for a simple death region where you don't have to do anything with the LUA (maybe it was req, I don't remember anymore), just make a damage region with insanely high damage.

Re: Injury Region (like Polis Massa space)
lol. I'll have to try that... *makes damage levels so high that even a Capital Ship with 0 healthdies instantly*
ANYHOO! Do I have to add damage levels for all of the things? (humans, droids, animals, etc.?)
And what's the difference between animals, humans, and droids?

Whatever you don't add a damagefactor for will default to 0. "Person," "droid," and "animal" don't refer to specific units, per se, they just refer to healthtypes. If you look in .odfs you'll see a line "HealthType=".

Does the death region property actually work, because I've when I've needed them I have had to do what you mentioned about damage regions with insanly high rates?

Okay. Set them up, now just have to try it. And what's a good damage amount? 99,999? Also, what I meant was what is the difference between the health types of humans, droids, etc. I will need something diffrent than human for my map.

I believe that they are different ways of classifying things so that for instance droids could get hurt, but wampas would be fine or something like that. It just allows you more options and the health amount usually varies with the different type.

I tried jumping into my death region with 1e+008 damage according to it. But I didn't get hurt. Suggestions?

Re: Injury Region (like Polis Massa space)
Did you set your death region up right? What you could also do is just make a damage region with extremely high values. However, if you really want to use the death region I would recommend setting it up at the end of the lua just like in the topic AceMastermind showed.

This game doesn't have protection for integer overflows. Don't use such a high number. Also, I didn't think death regions had damage values...

They don't have any damage values, it's auto "no health for you" when you enter this region.[RDH]Zerted wrote:...Also, I didn't think death regions had damage values...

I meant the damage region...
Anyway, I am trying it out now, and have reduced the number.
Stand by.
