Removing Tips/Tricks

Was wondering how to remove tips/tricks. Is it a req or shell thing?

It's localization. Go to your map's data_MAP folder and click on edit localize. (It's a batch file.) Expand level, then "common", and then tips. If you want to edit them, just type whatever you want in the text box. If you delete any, make sure that they are still in numerical order, for example, you can't leave them labeled, 1, 2, and 4. If you just want to delete them all, right click on their names and select "delete". Then hit save, (this takes a while). Once you've saved munged with the "load" box checked. Then, munge again with common checked.

It's not possible to completely remove the box thing that the text is contained in, though, even if you remove just the text via the localization tool, because you'll still end up with the box and [NULL] in it. But it's supposed to be possible with the loadscreen tool Teancum said he will eventually release. (See topic: http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 25&t=25500)

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Maybe at best you can just leave a space in one, making the tips and tricks box really small.
