RE: some new star wars game for the ps3

Post by Leviathan »

Off-topic : All those Informations regarding the upcoming video-games based on the Star Wars Universe are at the very least appreciable and useful, ex2100, but in order to make sure that as many GameToast members - Either knowing or being interested in learning more about the concerned Product - as possible will look at this thread, I would prefer transferring it towards a Location being much more adapted to such Subjects, which may explain why I have decided to move it to the "Game Informer !" sub-forum...

Too bad the PS3 is so expensive. That sounds like it will be really cool and innovative. Maybe one of my friends will get a PS3 and I can mooch off of them, lol.

I agree. :( It's too bad that the Personal Computer can't handle this new games. Well, I'll stick to Star Wars: Battlefront II... :P

Off-topic : By sharing so many Common Points with most of the latest Personal Computers being proposed on the whole Informatics Market, I would not be surprised to learn about the development and release of Softwares specialized in emulating or mounting Virtual Platforms intended to make video-games primarily intended to Microsoft® Xbox 360 or Sony® PlayStation 3 to be run on Microsoft® Windows, as happened to the first Xbox because of the designing of both Cxbx and Xeon, amongst other similar samples...

PS : It seems you have begun to follow the same path as I, Linus, and that's why I was wondering whether you would eventually be able to keep writing so as much frequently as possible...

I think PCs probably could handle these new games, even if it is only on the most advanced PCs. When Xbox and PS2 came out even though the gaming technology in those was new PCs could stilll handle it. I think the companys are just trying to force PC owner to buy their overpriced consoles to play games they make out will never work on any PCs. :x

Off-topic : I do not doubt at all of the Statements you have held through the previous message, but I would want you not to forget that although the most recent Personal Computers could offer and provide Effective Performances and Potential comparable to those inherent to "Next-Generation" Entertainment Platforms, you must not ignore that forcing our Good-Old Workstations to read and execute properly the content of Storage Mediums exploited by Microsoft® Xbox 360 or Sony® PlayStation 3 won't be that easy to achieve, because of the Internal Protection and Organizational Systems embedded into them...

You must keep in mind the Xbox360 and the PS3 ARE PC's, so with the appropriat (SP?) emulating software you can always run PS3 and/or Xbox(360) games on your PC.

Off-topic : I would not have personally held this Statement too much often, since the exact meaning implied by the "Personal Computer" Expression is way far from being the one you must have thought to while writing your previous message. Indeed, although the concerned Entertainment Platforms own an Internal and Functioning Organizations comparable to those inherent to our highly-appreciated Workstations, the Components and Devices embedded into Microsoft® Xbox 360 or Sony® PlayStation 3 have been basically intended towards them, which means exploiting either them or the Instructions they usually follow through Microsoft Windows Operating Systems will be eventually somewhat tough to achieve...

They are based on normal systems, since every console is a computer, and since the Xbox is very similiar to a normal Windows PC, I reffer to consoles as heavily moddified Personal Computers.

Off-topic : Eventually, it apparently seems that we are not that able to agree on Common Themes, and that's why I would want to try out something different from previously : Indeed, henceforth, I would like you to have a look at the Devices and Components embedded into the Entertainment Platforms you may have mentioned and argued about so far in order to tell me whether these same Designs could be compared to Equivalent Ones shipped on our usual Personal Computers, no matter whether we are talking about non-significant Retail Parts or not...

Off-topic : Because of the fact a Specialized Location comparable to YouTube© has usually suited Doubtful or even Illegal Contents similar to the one having been mentioned in order to bring back the current thread to Life, I hope you will understand why I have never ceased being somewhat wary with regards to this web-site and the Documents hosted through it, and that's why the concerned web-addresses will be almost systematically removed out of these Forums way before the implicated Service would decide to get rid off annoying Media Files, merely to make sure that Risks of having access towards files being more or less Reliable will be as fastly reduced as possible...

Rofl, YouTube is a website that hosts video and audio files, not a person ;). It had the video shown at IGN on its website but was meant for HyperSpace members only. Needless to say, it was taken down. But now, we can watch it at an even better resolution!

Off-topic : Something is currently telling me that inserting the concerned message was somewhat unhelpful since I assume ex2100 had already learnt about the exact Services and Objectives fulfilled by what he apparently considered as being a Living Creature. However, while attempting to be looked upon as being Sincere and held in the complete Dark about this Online Hosting Location, I guess he has not imagined at any time that someone being really in a comparable Situation would have asked what "YouTube©" was rather than who this Appellation could be intended towards, while reminding that his case has not been actually favoured by the presence of the "©" Special Character at the end of the aimed Name...
