XSI won't export to msh?

How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.

XSI won't export to msh?

Post by linksith »

Ok so I installed XSI 6 and then install the add-on and then created a model to export into battlefront. I told it to export but as soon as it started, it crashed. I tried different things to try to get it to work (including replacing the GPU) but nothing worked. Please help me. Thanx

:faint: If you had read the readme for the xsiaddon you would have seen that it doesn't work with any versions 6.0 or higher. You need to use XSI 4.2 - 5.11.

There is no such thing as '7.2'. Please don't confuse the thread author with random information.
CalvaryCptMike's reply was spot-on.

I have a problem though... my XSI 4.2 won't export to msh. I can make cloth and editflags but when I click "export" in the pandemic tools it says "ACTIVEX SCRIPT ERROR" in the bottom left corner. Plz help!

Which version of 4.2? The exporter doesn't work with Mod Tool 4.2, but it does work with any licensed 4.2 product such as Foundation, Essentials or Advanced along with their corresponding 30 day trials.

Please post the exact error.
If using the proper version of XSI then what OS do you use?
Vista?
Windows 7?
The 'fix' is the same for both, you must register the PandemicExporter.dll manually.
