Re: How to edit shiped sides.
Basic stuff, my friend.
Firstly you should read the Costom Jedi Creation Guide that comes with the modtools, secondly there's already several tutorials about it on this site. You should search for 'em, they probably cover all you want to know. (I think Caleb made the tut I'm thinking about)
Yeah that involves some reading but it's the only way

Message Severity: 3
.\Source\LuaCallbacks_Mission.cpp(866)
Lua ReadDataFile: Could not open ..\..\addon\COF\data\_LVL_PC\core.lvl
prev = none iLastPage = nil
prev = texture iLastPage = 1
prev = texture iLastPage = 2

Re: How to edit shiped sides.
"Tur" stands for "Turrets". The units are in assets/sides/"whateverside youwant". The three-letter names should be self-explanatory. GUN for Gungans, REP for Republic, etc.

Re: How to edit shiped sides.
they're always included in a new map, I don't know why. If you want to edit the other sides, go to assets/sides. All is rebels, CIS, etc.
EDIT: Fiodis beat me to it.

Re: How to edit shiped sides.
Follow the tutorials, look over them VERY carefully.
For a start, if you're editing sides, copy over the assets/sides/common folder and the assets/sides/ whateversidesyouwanttoedit to your map's sides folder

Re: How to edit shiped sides.
I got all the information i needed from Jedi Side Creation Tutorial. Look over it really carefully before starting to change stuff. Look at the the last chapter to find out about how to put your side ingame. It's always best to check it works ingame before actually editing anything.

Re: How to edit shiped sides.
I suggest you follow the tutorial by looking at the file that comes with it as you go along, jedi side example, which you will need to extract. It made things a lot easier for me!
Do you want to make a jedi side, or just change the clones or something like that?

You could try having a look through this one. There might be something helpful in there. It looks like the one that has the most info on what you're trying to do.
