Hey guys, I have followed the vyse toturial on costum sounds and I'm using BFBuilder to make the munged sound file. But when I try to munge, I get this error:
C:\LucasArts\BFBuilder\DataSFX\_BUILD_PC>del Mungelog.txt

\AMD was unexpected at this time.

I've intalled the modtools in the path and requirements on the 'Readme'. But for some reason I keep on getting this message. I'm using windows 7 64bit, so I don't know if this might be the problem. Do I have to modify something to make it work? or am I doing something wrong? thanks
My installation path for BFBuilder is M:\unsupported_swbf_mod_tools\BFBuilder\ and it works for me. If I were you, I'd uninstall it and reinstall it in the very root of one of your drives. I'm not sure, but I think it may need to go in the "unsupported_swbf_mod_tools" folder.
Nope -- it only needs to go in a folder with no spaces in the path. Subdirectories don't matter. Sound like a Win7 issue to me, but I can't really help since I run XP on my machines.
Well, something REALLY HORRIBLE just happened. When I put BFbuilder in the rooot "C" drive directory, I tried to munge the map to get the munged sound. But when I went back to my SWBF2 modding tools, it FREAKING OVERWROTE my wld file from my map that I've been working for 3weeks straight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I don't know how the hell that was possible if my two maps had completely different names!!!
I'm heart broken man, I'm not going to mod on SWBF anymore, the tools are really buggy, too many errors and process is really unstable, and it takes alot of time and dedication. I'm out...
Don't give up just yet. I almost gave up modding and it was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. You have to keep trying. One time it took me 36 attempts to fix a problem. Keep trying! Don't get discouraged.
