That's because the "red of his shirt" is his skin. His chest was partially exposed in that outfit.

True about the sword, but you do have one right? Also, he does have something like a red undershirt under the yellow one that is exposed (as well as his chest).

Thanks ! R2-M5...hm...I will look into that. I couldn't find a droid that matched my skin on Wookiepedia, maybe I didn't look hard enough.


EDIT: I looked R2-M5 up on Wookiepedia, and you are right. But there is a twist-apparently before "he" was released as a toy he was called R2-D1. Wow that was a lucky guess I made when naming him, lol.
