Model collision problem [Solved]

Post by xXxDimmuBorgir13xXx »

Back making maps...again :P , this time I made a building model with a few windows (in 3dsmax) I got it in game, textured everything was good, except one problem, when I go to shoot out of the windows, it's like there isn't a window there (like shooting a wall). To make the windows (whoever uses 3dsmax) I made the wall out of a box, then took a sphere, then used a pro Boolean to cut the sphere into the wall. In game it shows the wall cut out , and you can see through, but you can't shoot through the window :S .

Any ideas?
Thanks :)

Did you make the collision, or did you let ZE make it?

EDIT: it appears that Ace beat me...

make a copy of all your objects, merge them and call the new object "collision_whatever" hide it and you should have a proper collision ingame

open up a text file, put that line in it, then save it is yourmeshname.msh.option in your mesh folder.

oh ok that's why I was putting it on the odf, and didn't include the .msn.option.

Thank you. I will try that now :)

EDIT: It's good now.
