Yeah, the hidden taunt is still in there. He also added a "hidden" (technically he revealed it on the Dojo) taunt for Samus.

What's so special about that? Well, I'll just put it this way, the Europeans shouldn't be too happy about it.

I don't see why they shouldn't be happy with it, since they've now had the game for more than eight months.Fusion wrote:June 6, 2007

Me too. Just every once in a while I like to show my own special brand of affection by poking fun at them instead of making a correction.Fusion wrote:Normally when I see a typo, I fix it.
That being said, I don't think the European gaming community is going to be very surprised, since they often get games released after Japan and North America.

But really, a game that requires a lot of practice 3 months after us and 5 after Japan?
Anyways, I thought you guys might like this: http://www.gamestop.com/gs/ssbb/tournament/default.asp
Good luck if you pre-ordered there like me.

I doubt pre-orders will be necessary. They'll have tons of copies. There has never been a game that I couldn't walk into a store on opening day and pick up off the shelf, pay for it and then leave all in five minutes.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl *Spoilers Start At Page 46*
I think the tourney's only for those that have actually pre-ordered. It's a neat little incentive, and I'm stoked that they're still holding it at the GameStop I preordered it at, since it's in a mall (and those have apparently had problems in the past being opened past mall closing times). I figure I'll probably get trashed by anyone who's already played it with a WiiKey or a Japanese copy, which I would imagine is especially likely in a college town. I'll have fun, though.EraOfDesann wrote:I doubt pre-orders will be necessary. They'll have tons of copies. I wonder if online play might lower interest in tournaments.

Not likely. Online play is limited to with friends, in which you can choose whatever settings you want - but only with your Wii friends, or with anyone, which is always 4-player FFA 2-minute timed matches, items on. Also, no one's going to want to have the potential of lag, however slight, to interrupt a match with money on the line.EraOfDesann wrote:I wonder if online play might lower interest in tournaments.

I... HATE european release dates.
Living in europe,(Norway, to be exact) sucks when it comes to game releases x.x
Edit: Update on the article:
Update- Nintendo of Europe has commented on the release date and responded “This is pure rumour and speculation - no announcement has been made.” Of course knowing Nintendo, this date could be entirely true. After flat out denying no new DS was in the works, then announcing one a week later, it’s hard to trust these kind of comments anymore.

Bah. I can't say I understand it, why does it take months to get an already finished and released game out in Europe??!

AGH! NO!!
My Gamecube Memory card, which had all of my save games on it for all of my Gamecube games, somehow got corrupted!
I lost Everything!
Oh well. The only game I play lately on Gamecube is Melee, and Brawl will be out soon. Getting all those unlocks will keep me busy till then.

I have a few extra Memory Cards, so I started a few new Melee files.
Already 3/4s done with unlocking the characters (minus Mewtwo and G&W, for obvious reasons) and I have no idea why I struggled with this game in 2002.
Brawl should be easier

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl *Spoilers Start At Page 46*
I was playing Melee two weekends ago sort of to prepare myself for Brawl. Bowser used to be my main but he's just too darn slow so I experimented with some other characters and I really like Peach. But I'm glad that Bowser has been given some much-needed improvements in Brawl. I've heard that the difference is phenomenal.
I hope one day I can play as well as this guy.
