Well, obviously it'd make sense to have them die, but I'm curious as to how exactly Xwingguy's gonna do it. Creating a vacuum is pretty unlikely... just having them drop dead would be kinda lame too. If it were up to me, I'd just have a huge explosion that'd kill everything within the bridge. Then trigger the door to the bridge to lock after it's been destroyed, so as no one can just walk in. That'd probably be the best thing to do.

I'm not sure at all whether Xwingguy will place the bridge room within the brigde object.
When you've played RC you know that there are lots of rooms full of consoles and stuff which are located under the brigde object - at least it was like this on the RAS Prosecutor.
And in the X-Wing: Wraith Squardron series we get to know that many ship have a second bridge. Maybe this could be the bridge room.
Or there's a message "evacuating bridge now" when the bridge is on 10% Health, and all bots run out, and then we get a message "un-sealing bridge now" and everyone still on the bridge dies.

Kinda like what Schizo said, it should be like when a gernade explodes, the unit being affected is blasted back somewhere else.
It should be like all of the units in the command Bridgedo what happens when a gernade explodes. Its kinda hard to explain but you've seen a gernade explode and what happens to the unit.
When the Command Bridge is destroyed, will the player who destroys it get all of the points and kills for killing the people inside the command bridge? I think the playuer should just get points for destroying the command bridge and not the people within it.

Now that would be awesome. Kills are linked to a player's ordnance tho. So an explosion triggered by the bridge would be considered suicides by all those left on the bridge. Even though the player hit the bridge's critical system, it is still considered separate, since the bridge explosion is triggered by the bridge.mcdestroyer wrote: When the Command Bridge is destroyed, will the player who destroys it get all of the points and kills for killing the people inside the command bridge? I would rather have it be considered suicide" ie: [GT]Teancum died" then the player getting all of those kills and points. That would be cheap to get all of those points and every1 ould just head after the command bridge first so they get all of the kills and points there.Teancum wrote: Now that would be awesome. I dont think maps can be God.Honestly though, this map is going to be god,
That wont just "wouldnt be good"....It would suck. Xwingguy's computer crashing or "exploding" is something we have faered since the map was a month or two into progress. But, if u think of it, it isnt more then, probably a lot less then, 500MB.xwingguys computer crashing and the whole map being destroyed!
that wouldnt be good......not good at all

I hope ya'll are saving up for more RAM and a better video card, becuase I 110% guarantee you're going to need it to play this map. I'm not knocking XW, but the engine was never meant to be pushed this far, and to be honest, sp might be fine, but mp gameplay will suffer due to the processing power needed.
