Has any one played this WONDERFUL game? BTW here is the link to it's site: http://lo-mac.com/

ive played (well actually i PLAY) and yeah the game is awesome, better than falcon 4.0 allied force
the only thing i dont like are some random crashes that happen way to often (because of them i cant finish for example the f15 and su25 campaigns)
the thing i like at most is the map editor

Yup the map editor is soooo good. I love making A-10 missions.

yeah a-10 rocks, su25 is too hard to control
my favorite fighters are su27 and su33 because of better weaponry, lock on systems (radar...) and flight abilities
f15 is good too but sometimes i have fuel problems (once i pressed the wrong button combination and dropped fuel tanks on half way home, several kilometers left to base i had no fuel any more, but the speed was enough to land) and navigation is harder, and i can easily understand kilometers and have problems with knots and miles (but thats my problem)
mig29 carries only 6 rockets, and you cant activate air brake with your gears down

I love the SU-27! It's soooooooooo much fun to fly. I loove strafing with the A-10.

and a-10 has also powerful cannon and maverik missiles with night vision (my favorite )
and my favorite a-10 campaign mission is the one during winter (close to the end of the campaign)
i also like night missions, especially taking off and landing (i love the lights on the airfield)

I can't get past the first mission of the A-10. Why is it when you shoot, you can't lock on again unless you crash and RCVR?

do you mean maverik rockets? strange i dont have this problem
but you can finish the first mission without them, just dont take the direct way to the convoys (too much aa), when you reach your target, take out (using bombs) aa missiles first, then shilkas, and then the convoys (with cannon)
and you also can activate god mode, unlimited ammo/fuel in the options (but it is kinda boring)

EDIT: whoops just noticed that i described the second mission, but the idea is the same: first aa then targets

EDIT2: just played through the first mission [again], you have to destroy BMD-1 APCs, so after taking off fly slowly and wait until friendly tornados engage, then give an order to attack air defences to your wingman and wait until he shoots his rockets (in that time you can bomb some igla SAMs, just wait until they shoot and then attack them and dont fly high, only if you want to attack with rockets or cannon), so when all aa installations are destroyed you can take out the APCs
and you have only two mavericks (one of each type), perhaps you have simply no rockets anymore

Dang! I want to get past the first mission without that prob.

have you this problem only in campaign or in every mission (even self-created?)

only campaign.

in the first campaign mission you have only two rockets (one normal and one with thermal vision)
so you cant lock on because you have no rockets of special type anymore
you can also press F2 and place the camera under you aircraft and you will see which weapons do you have
(the ammunition is displayed in the lower left corner on the hud when you switch through weapons or choose cannon and somewhere on the control panel but i dont know where)

and do you know how can i throw only single bombs, because even a single cluster bomb can cause much devastation (and throwing them in pairs is imho waste of ammunition)
