Re: SketchUp Models
here is my first model i have just got sketchup

it's a toilet
still trying to figure out how to get a roof, a proper one, like on houses.
Also made a corner building which you can go into, with a living room and a kitchen.

Re: SketchUp Models
Looks nice, but I'd recomend adding some thickness to the walls, they look like paper. As for the roof, you can just draw a triangle and use thepush/pull tool.

A very nice model, and the texture works for it, if a little odd looking due to the curved surface. However...Wonderboy wrote:hey thanks mswf it will work![]()
ok this is my 3rd model its some kind of silo or something on DantooineHidden/Spoiler:
1. In the reference pic, the roof is a dome, not a cone
2. the blue strip shouldn't be that high
3. The pipe on the side should be coming out, bending 90º to the side and then going downwards. On second thoughts, is that pipe even on the silo, or on the barn?
4. The cuboid at the bottom of the pipe has some odd lines crossing its surface. I doubt they are needed

Re: SketchUp Models
there is a curved line tool, you can use that and use a follow me around the circle to make the dome.
