SBD Muzzle Flash [Solved]

I have a very quick question, can/how do you add muzzleflash to the super battle droid's
wrist blaster? I've tried making a pointless object (a null [dummyroot] as a parent of hp_fire
null) but it didn't work (I did add the lines FirePoint = "hp_fire" [can't remember if it is called that] still didn't work though).

Huh? I'm almost positive the stock SBD wrist blaster has a muzzle flash. :o

Strange :?. I did accidentally delete the unofficial patch 1.3 stock cis and
am using my own but I don't remember any muzzle flash at all.

I don't remember one either.

Edit: Just checked my stock sides. No muzzle flash for the original super battle droid.

You have the right idea, sorta, Nedarb7.

The stock SBD's weapons use a dummy null model, in theory you could attach the muzzle flash to that. However it might look off, and need to be adjusted somehow. I don't have the time to look into this this minute, maybe later tonight if I have the time. I have a lot of work to do.

Just tried repositioning the hp_fire null but the muzzle flash did not move.
When I move the dummyroot null the cube moves but not the position of
the flash because the dummyroot always is centered :?. So basically what
I wrote earlier is completely useless. Anyone know how to reposition
the dummyroot?

The stock assets already came with a remedy for this: It's called cis_weap_inf_sbdroidmuzzle.msh, and it's located in BF2_ModTools\assets\sides\cis\msh\PC.
