Who u get is just luck of the draw unless ur in a party with other plaqyers

You get paired with prefered players, and you can invite your friends to a party to play with them. So it's only "random" if you like no one and you don't have any friends...

Yeah, you'll never have a completely "sin free" game on Halo 3/Live unless you play customs with a bunch of people you know. If someone on live really thinks you suck, trust me, they'll send a message if they can't talk to you because you've muted them.

Personally Im always in an Xbox Live Party wen I play unless its a custom game or forge

Halo 3: ODST just got it's gameplay shown at E3, along with the next game, slated for Fall 2010, Halo: Reach. ODST will be out on 9/22/09.

Halo 1 Magnum's successor is finally here.

Just heard about Reach. Yet another Halo game I must buy. I'm definitely buying ODST the day it comes out to get in the Reach MP beta.

No but, seriously I liked Halo 3 and Halo 2 the best. The one thing that I didn't like about the series though was that they got easier as you went trough the saga. Halo 1 legendary is WAAAAAY harder than Halo 3 legendary, if you don't believe me try it.

Anyways, ODST is shaping up to be a really good game, with the addition of Firefight. Endless waves of Brutes, Grunts, Hunters, Wraiths...and there's limited ammo. In their newest podcast, Bungie says that apparently you should probably save rockets for Hunters, because they were horribly killed due to Joe Staten wasting them on minor enemies, like Grunts.

Did anyone else think that ODST looked a bit like Republic Commando combined with Metroid plus some added awesomeness that Halo gives it? The whole visor thing and the squad stuff, even when he was arming the bombs, don't know how many bombs I armed in Republic Commando...

Still looks amazing, and who wouldn't like a mixture of Metroid and Republic Commando added to the insanity that is already Halo? (that's rhetorical )
