very nice, though you could probably cut some polys, especially on the small cylinder on top

it is really not that high poly, some of the stock weapons have as many polys, so it should not cause probs,

stock weapons normally have much less polys especially for rounding, but i think its bige enough to let all poly show up ingame, only the polys in the area on the bottom of the grid could be a bit too small

I think letting SWBF judge if it shows those polies or not might be the best idea?

Ta-da, a vehicle bunker. Made the model in SketchUp, textured in XSI. Textures 75% made by me, most of them are existing stock textures that I just put together/recolored. Can accommodate landspeeders, speederbikes, AT-PTs, possibly even a TX-130, but no bigger. I might make a bigger one to suit vehicles like AT-STs, I don't know.

Also my first model on the showcase thread, so yay.

*EDIT*

WHOOPS, terribly sorry about that staff, forgot the wireframe:

It looks nice for a first model. An interior on the inside of the extension would be pretty neat.

Hmm, yeah, maybe. But what would I put in it? Or should I just leave it blank so other modders could fill whatever they wanted in there?

Hmm, well I kinda meant for that piece of the building to be something like a toolshed/office type deal. I might do something with it.

Because i couldn't stand the sock chaingun anymore, i made this for my mod. 100% modeled by me, hardpoints will be done by darth spiderpig (hopefully). will need a new animation for it tho.
in all modesty, it is awesome, the best thing i ever modeled, so far :P

Indeed a nice model. :o

But for getting it ingame, I would suggest triangulate the polys to prevent the smaller ones from getting invisible.
