Ok first im going to do the bespin platform city.

The map looks good and i like the sky but the map I think is alittle too big, it feels like I have to walk for about 2mins before i get to the next CP and the fighting has huge gaps between, like I would kill about 3 droids then walk for about 5min and find some more.

there are some hovering stuff aswell

now on to the units I like the republic skins and the droids just look the same, with both sides the main weapons name weird e.g rep d15 blaster and cis blaster, the last four units on the rep side dont have names and some of the cis side dont have names aswell.

I have found a bug with this map or the sides anyway, I would need 2 more points to play the next class so I went and kill 5 droids thinking I would get more then 2 points for the next, class but when I respawned and went to play was the class it said i need 1 point and wonuldn't unlock so I dont know what they were and if they had anything wrong with them.

I think that the game went on for too long I was playing as the republic and it went on for what felt like ages because each fight was spaced out.

this is at CP 6 i think and the AI runs to the edge and wont move

I cant remeber where this was and Im not sure if it was ment to be a bridge acroos to another platform or a hole in the map.

I dont have a picture of this but If you jump of the edge of a platform you wont die but just fall untill you click respawn on the pause menu.

This was only with the CW era and I havn't tried the GCW era yet.

thank you dom for the nice report. ill try to take care about the bugs. do you think raising the unit count would change something?

maybe or making the map smaller but its up to you I think it will help abit.


Edit- The corustant (think thats how you spell it) maps folder name is COF right if so it doesnt show up in game.

No its not already taken well at least not in my addon folder but It wont show up ingame for me and its not because I have too many missions because it doesn't come up with that message when I start up.

hmm have you tried downloading it again?

maybe the download is corrupt. if any of the other testers have the same problem im gonna reupload it

I had trouble downloading it the first time but then after redownloading it worked perfectly. Here's my review:

Coruscant: Walk
(kinda odd name, is there more to it?)
There was no major bugs I noticed here but for GCW era there was no music and in the skies above there were still vulture droids and LAATs in the distance.

Bespin: Plattform City (There's only one "t" in Platform)
There were a lot of bugs I found with this map, majorly just floating objects but I think Dom380 covered most of it.

Other than the missing localization and loadscreens, the maps were good.

please, im very open for any map name suggestions you think that fit.

were you happy with the cw era of coruscant or would you change anything?

Well, the lighting was kinda dark and I would lighten it up a little and only a few of the AI would take the overhead walkway, I would also add some turrets and possibly some flyers.

Oh and on Bespin, none of the AI seemed to take the ships and plus for GCW era I think the Millennium Falcon would fit great for it.

With the CIS there flyers were destroyed when spawned in my game

I tried flyers but there are too many things to fly into, might add some turrets thanks.

I mentioned this problem earlier but i have no idea how to fix this since AI pathing goes to it and there are no barriers in way

About the platforms that disappear...they are somehow destroyable CPs. how do i make normal props out of them?

go to their odf and change them into props
where it says this:
ClassLabel = "flyer"
change the red text from whatever it was to this:
ClassLabel = "prop"

most of the floating objects fixed

only the flyers left now, any ideas how i make AI use them?


UPDATE

added hunt mode on coruscant that lets you play as the locals of the con

im gonna add anotherone for kashyyyk that lets you play as wookies and yoda against rep and cis. and maybe a gcw one as wookies against trandos

any other ides for hunt?

cool erm how about rebel mercenaries have to fight back activated cis droids, imperials and acklays as they carry their new loot to the nearest planet they can find and crash land onto geonosis where Imperials are investigating CIS remains, they manage to bring them back to life and program them to attack the mercenaries which the droids have searched for using their radar and reported that they are on the planet.
:) Just made that up on the spot but it's a good idea, no? Up to you :thumbs:
It could be made into another planet that they crash landed on though. 8)

thats a good idea, but it doesn't fit for a hunt mode in any of my maps (or does it?)

but ill consider this in the next maps i make and maybe i put it in :)

and im not going to make any more maps for the map pack since im hoping to get it done soon

UPDATE

All maps will now have random clone legions on the non-BFX version. the legions are the convo pack ones.
