Has anyone been able to use the mod tools provided by softimage to actually export models to BF2? I tried, but it won't load the addon provided with the mod tools for BF2.
Does anyone know how to fix this because I would really like to be able to create my own hero and more to the point, setup some sort of cloth. Or, even just edit a pre existing hero.

RE: Art work and cloth
heh - we even have a whole Forum here for this stuffs
called the XSI --> SWBF Series
The forum where we more or less have all the things to SWBF2 from the program; XSI Softimage, which is the only program which you directly can export costum models with.
but just to warn ya':
Start with the bottom and WAIT with new units
Many people wanna do sometihng big to start with, before they even get the concept or the idea of what they're doing. So start in the small, and build up
and after a few months you can take the big step
this is how we all started

Sorry for not seeing that.
In any case, thank you for redirecting me, this forum has surprisingly answered my questions rather well. As for moving along at a slow and steady pace, I haven't mastered the zero editor but I have made some headway with it.
I guess cloth will have to wait for the mod tools plugin. Oh well. Actually come to think of it, even if there isn't an import option all the cloth is setup in a different .msh file isn't it? If that's the case then once the addon is released, I'm not that far off from being able to build custom pieces of cloth and using them in game.
Oh well, that will have to wait. Again, thank you.
