Let me start by saying that I hope its an expansion instead of a whole new game because the word is that they are keeping the same engine. I wish they would try something new instead and include ragdoll physics, that way it could truly be a Battlefront 2. But anyway, that's just me...Overtime I have compiled a list of things I think should be added or corrected in the game that I've always wanted to do myself, but I couldn't do because I am still learning.
GENERAL
1. Redefined physics (ragdoll) and A.I. engine
2. Ability to customize ticket count for instant action battles
3. Improved graphics---framerate...what? Polish the graphics!
4. Players react to damage...like they walk slower or they have a limp-what I would really really want is a new health system...one where you could get shot in the leg or arm 3-4 times and still live but get shot in stomach, chest, or head once and you immediately die...ultra realism concept
5. Story mode-like Medal of Honor...stay as a single person and get to know them...progress through set paths in a series of levels and complete many objectives...different kinds, not just "go blow up the shield generator or defeat 200 baddies", but instead like "escort Vader through the interior of the captured rebel ship, past the blockade of rebels to get to Princess Leia"
6. Large space battles
7. New campaign modes for Episode III- this new game should focus primarily on the events of Episode III
8. Add something to spice up the Galactic Conquest mode
9. Rebel sniper needs a voice
10. New commands-surrender, capture, etc...
11. The BIGGEST thing I want to happen is for the command posts not to happen. I don't like the idea of spawning because it takes away the feel that you get when you watch the movies. I would like to run down the barren fields of Geonosis with 2000 clone troopers by my side, guns blazing, the whole CIS army running straight towards me. The bulk of both armies on the field at once-this would, of course, change the game almost entirely and would take away the customizational ticket count, but I like the idea a whole lot. It would allow massive onslaughts, more intense of a battle, better realism, more strategic gameplay, no "empty spaces" on the map, and last but not least, also call for almost any system to chug on framerate. But that's not a problem as long as you have a fairly high-end system. -this idea would of course have to be supported with way more names in the naming system or the naming system would have to be ditched for something new
12. Cheats: unlimited health and ammo, no reload time, etc...
13. Rewards for completing certain modes and levels with certain difficulty settings would be nice, that way the player could have a purpose for completing something other than racking up on 5,000 kills...to earn that special character from Republic Commando...hehehe...or maybe Darth Maul...hmm...
14. A record of all your kills and so on so forth
15. Climb ranks...gain experience...become a battle hardened rebel scum
FACTIONS
1. Bounty hunters as heroes!-Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Bossk, IG-88, etc...
2. Jedi playable characters!-and they're killable!
3. More Jedi-Anakin, Obi-Wan, General Greivous. etc...
4. Special faction designed for natives, Jedi, and bounty hunters...playable!
5. Bounty hunters take no sides
6. More characters for each faction-and they have their own uniqueness, their own advantages, instead of just different weapons
7. Jedi will fight Sith
WEAPONS
1. I've always dreampt of picking up weapons, like in Halo-they stay on the field
2. Fists and daggers can be used as weapons-melee is fun
3. Time until burnout is way way too fast- I personally think there should be no burnout times
4. More ammo!
5. Rebel rocket launcher needs to be more accurate
6. The shots need to travel faster- really you shouldn't be able to dodge an energy beam coming straight at you from 6 meters away by 5 feet
7. Shots should travel all the way across the map, instead of evaporating after traveling 300 feet
8. Anyone can trigger a mine-allowing for ultra realism
9. Weapons can be discarded
10. New weapons: stun baton, light repeating blaster, etc...
11. Include the mini assault turret (there is also one for the clone troopers, because I have a model of it)

12. I think that the players need to use their primary weapons until completely out of ammo, or unless they are in certain situations-you know how they tend to switch to a pistol alot
13. Jedi can use force push, mind trick, and choke
14. Thermal detonators deal WAY more damage and take up a BIG area with explosion
15. Thermal detonators now affect vehicles with substantial damage
16. Concussion grenades do WAY more damage to vehicles and hurt players WAY more. Bigger explosions too.
EXPLOSIONS AND PARTICLE EFFECTS
1. Some shots need to be less dense, like the one out of an AT-AT
2. Explosions are massive, encompassing a greater area of range and damage
3. More particle effects would be nice
4. Vehicle explosions send tons of pieces of debris everywhere, not just those big bulky pieces of craft and little fireballs
5. Debris can hit and kill
6. Explosions of vehicles can kill
7. Players do not drop out of a vehicle after it has exploded into a big fiery ball that was visible from outer space-this goes for turrets and the rest also-ultra realism concept
8. In air combat, debris will damage a ship
VEHICLES
1. All air vehicles have current altitude, max altitude, and ground level altitude
2. Can touch down on ground while flying, instead of bumping and exploding, and in the case of planets like Hoth, can grind into the snow- I hope all of you know what i mean--it's the ultra realism concept again- I want the vehicle health system to mimic the player health system, like damage one wing and keep going, break off one wing and hurdle to the ground-therefore, this concept would allow for cruising on the ground or slightly above the ground(that's why I included altitude), instead of flying toward the ground at an angle other than straight down and hitting it and then being propelled straight back up to the sky with heavy damage...remember that the health system operates on where the shot hits on the body of the victim-as for vehicles, the boosters, wings/arms, or cockpit would be the weak points
3. Ability to shoot players operating in open spaces in vehicles, like a player manning the laser turret on top of a tank-he can be shot in the back, or the head from a higher point
4. Ground vehicles have lower "hitpoints", except for the speeder bike and AT-AT
5. Speeder bike needs to go faster
6. The fact that only pilots can pilot air vehicles makes perfect sense...
7. There should be no ammo burnout for vehicles...if there is, the time until burnout should be increased MASSIVELY
8. Speeder bike shot accuracy needs to be tweaked
9. Speeder bikes take less damage when hitting the ground or running into an angled plane at high speed
10. Speeder bikes should not gain THAT MUCH air when hitting that small of a bump-the laws of physics here are a bit off
11. Air vehicles need to have higher speeds
12. Any vehicle with an R2 unit in it should automatically repair itself
13. More vehicles: A-Wing, V-Wing, Millennium Falcon, Starfighter, "Trade Federation Transport/Drop Ship", "Imperial Shuttle", etc...
MAPS-with campaign mode playable faction (/=it may go either way)

-Hoth's shield generator needs to have WAY less hitpoints-watch what it takes to blow it up in the movie: one AT-AT blast
-There can be many, many more levels, most for Episode III
-I'm not sure about Coruscant, Mustafar, and Utapau, because the movie hasn't come out yet-I just know there is a battle on each of these planets in Episode III
