Firefox addons

Post by Adreniline »

If the background is a funky color for guru chat, and you really don't like the IE browser or layout, then here's an addon you might find helpful:

IE Tab

This Firefox addon gives you a button in the bottom right hand corner of your screen (looks like fire fox or IE, pending on which tab you are using) that lets you quickly toggle between IE and Firefox tabs. You click it, and it will reload the page with the other browser's settings.

This makes it much easier to see and read guruchat.

That's all for now

RE: HOWTO: a guruchat fix for Firefox users

Sweet! This'll make it easier for pages that have to be viewed in IE for them to open.

ShadowHawk, here's the Developers website, I think you might be able to download the source code.

Would that allow you to compile it for use with the Mac version of Firefox/or with Camino or not?

Depends on how it works. If it needs IE, then everyone is out of luck because the only version of IE for mac is buggy and outdated.

Well I believe Guru fixed this problem.

Should we turn this into a Firefox extension thread? Cause there are some other pretty cool extensions I use that others might find useful....

Also, Adblock Plus. It works well for blocking pesky ads and you never have to do anything with it. Get it here.
