maybe u could add a couch tank. 2 ppl. 1 person fires lasers and 2 person fires rockets.

a couch tank would not do much good as this is a platforms level, but i am gonna put the couch in there, and prob tweak it as a bomber or a heavy assault fighter :D

im also going to make the chair and couch so that you will be able to take off and land almost instantly, eliminating that annoying couple seconds that it "hovers" when it lands and takes off, and you are unable to control it.

also, and iv though about this before, is to try to tweak the ODF's so that the flying is more like BF1942/Vietnam where you have WAY more control over the vehicle and it's alot harder.

hehe, it LOOKS good, and to the BUSY shadowhawk, I've TOLD you before, if you need a break, tell me, and I'll review/test/update/post/anything else :wink: you doesn't even gets ANY sleep, and since BattleWeek 6 is coming up, you REALLY should rest :)

iv actually suceeded in giving the anti-air turrets homing missles as wel as the normal blaster fire. its pretty cool but im not sure if i'll keep it in there for the final ;)

Great Beta map, lots of fun, especially with the armchair of death. :D I know this is merely a beta, and your map might change drastically by the time the final is released, but I found a few problems you might want to address. (Aside from the stupider-than-normal troops, its mostly just graphical errors.)

Looks like you just pasted two walkways together. Isnt there a way to stretch it or something?

Hard to see here, but it doesnt look like that walkway has very much support. :D Youve got to look at the map from all sides.

The platforms are constantly flickering. I know that happens when you stick two models together, but theres got to be a way around it...

It seems some of your walkway's roofs are hollow. :D Had no problem flying my armchair right through them.

I probably shouldnt be telling you how to make your maps since I cant mod worth ****, but I thought Id just point out some of the things you could fix. :D Thanks for the opportunity to have my own flying Lay-Z-Boy of Death.

Like I said, I probably shoudlnt be telling anyone how to make their maps, but these were just a few things I noticed while playing that I couldnt normally do/see in a normal level. I personally think it's going to be a great level when it is finished.

BTW, great idea for the two-person couch/bomber. Instead of bombs, maybe you could have them dropping bowls of doritos. Keep up the good work.

Yea, don't listen to them Raynre, this is exactly the kind of feedback mappers want, or should be wanting. Good work, keep it up.

exactly nimlot, this is exactly the kind of feedback i want :D

most of these i already knew about and am trying to fix.

the graphical glitches are caused by the fact that i hav 2 overlapping objects at exactly the same height, but i can fix that by ofsetting one of them slightly(it shouldnt even be noticeable)

the ramps are annoying cuz they are like too short or too long, and its hard to put em together cuz the twist and rotate kinda screwy in the editor, but i'll try to get em as good as i can ;)

as far as the geometry, the bridges i have never had issues with, and they're the exact bridges from bespin platforms so i dont know why theyd be messed. the ramps i guess i could try to get em into milkshape or xsi with the help of bconstructor(thanx nimlot :D ) and see if i can get geometry for their undersides. i might need help with that though cuz im pretty much a n00b at modeling but i might be able to fix it.

glad to see ppl are enjoying it though, and all yur feedback will help to make it an even better level :D :D
