Hmm, well, has anyone ever got the AI to behave in a race? i.e. you?
I could just do something else with my time XD.

Never tried it - I did that race-esque mode a few years back, but I didn't know a whole lot when I made that and it was a ground map anyway. Flyer racing is a lot easier to set up, but I've only ever done it in concept (read: my head) and not in practice. Heh, well even if this is a waste of time I am learning something and I think a finished project would behave better than splines, and also make a better way to use ZE animations I think.
Also, that whole animating vehicles thing. I should test how that looks. It looks a lil wonky but if I 0 the gravity on the vehicle it might work.
Otherwise I might spend my modding time on Empires. whose development team can be a little slow to implement things. I just need to learn their stuff first.
