well, if you would build such asystem im shure darth_spiderpig would implement it. its just that it will most likely impossible and the time that would have to be spend on it ccan be invested more effectively in developing other more important things

I agree conpletely with Darth Duck on this one XD, i would never notice a name color in the death screen nor do i think it would even be possible to have different name colors for different clones.

I don't see the point of colored names, because I would not notice the name and there would be WAY to many names compared to colors. Though there is no reason not to try, it's not actually needed and would take up a lot of time.

i don't mean colored name i mean the armor

example: Null ARC Ordo he has an red armor so you start the map and see a clone in red Arc armor. the name is Ordo.
you die and than at this position is a blue colored Arc trooper and the name is mereel.

While I'm sure everyone likes the idea, it would be incredibly complicated and lengthly. You'd need to make a unit for every single clone trooper there is, then lua script a local faction to spawn them in a sequence after each died. You'd then need to script the side to dock reinforcements for every one that died. Even if you did that, they'd still have the problem of spawning when the Republic didn't have the reinforcements.

If you wanted to match the names, you'd have to make a new faction for every single clone, making the scripting incredibly difficult and, due to game engine restrictions, limiting you to about five different clones and still causing the problems above.

It's a good idea, but the amount of work needed for such a small benefit simply isn't worth it, especially as the result won't be nearly as good as you were thinking anyway. Sorry.

ok i see it's much work for a map but for a mod it would be great

Hey guys, I finally got an update for you.
I know you must be getting sick of this, I mean I do so too, 24 oages of updates and changes, because I feel like something wasn't quite right and no link anywhere to try it yourself.


Anyway, if you want to see something, and if that should be some cis side update, then this might please you:

A new idle for the spear made by me
An awesome skin made by Cookie
Wings....to fly....you know, it's a bug, so....anyway
