I would like to beta test but my "Modtools Knowledge" is very primitive.

Weird huh? So I guess its up to you about whether or not I really fit into that category.
I match everything else perfectly though!

*sigh* --I wish folks would post how it screws up their game. I'll never know what to fix if I don't know what happens.
On-Topic: I didn't see any bugs of note to report Rends. I was recompiling the conversion pack sides last night so I didn't get a bfront2.log, but I'll have that for you today, and I'll remove anything that you can ignre.

I've been testing this map for a couple days now and I want everyone to know there in for a real treat. When I first loaded the map up, my first impression was, this is how Mos Eisley should of been in the shipped game.
Everything from having other textures than that sand building texture that is the only real texture in the shipped map, to the mixed up layout of the map make it feel like the real Mos Eisley. Gone is the boxed in row after row of buildings. It is really broken up so you feel like there is main roads through the town and then there is back alley and many hidden areas. Many of the modeled buildings, by Rends, alow you to acutally walk through them, which makes them feel like shops.
I really like the local side as well. The ZE animation of the ship in the sky was a great touch as well. The little touches, like attenas and stuff ontop of builds added a lot to the overall feel of the map. There is a lot of work left in the map though. This was only the Alpha, the final version is going to be amazing.
Rends, I'll send you my bug list later.

That would be modders dream. Reaching beta stage by just renaming itAlexSecura wrote:Why don`t you made a Public Beta,Rends.
Many People here like to Beta Test your Alpha Version and me too.
See it´s not a beta version. the map is currently at alpha stage.
This means that not everything is finished or included. There are models not uvmapped yet or with a texture template only. They miss shadow, lowres or collision models or have bugs here and there. Ground textures, heights and colors are also not final and so are dome flyers, barriers pathing ect...
Not to speak about sides, localize and what else.
Once most of the stuff is done and when it comes to find bugs or other problems it will be called beta.
That´s what i understand about the difference between alpha and beta version.
Gimme some more weeks and we will be there and yes it might be a public beta version then.

Thanks for reply.Ok. The Word Beta was not right in that Combination. I mean Public Alpha.
So that everyone, specially me, can see how far you are with your Map.I'm very interrested in it.But I wait for the Beta Version.
Ps.Before a long Time,I send you a PM (I think you dont get it) with the Question: If you think at it, to work again,on your Bunker Hill Idea.?Which I found in the WIP Thread.
