Well Iv recently taken up XSI, This is my third model so I havnt gotten good yet :P

stick to the JK one when skinning, the FS tex is nice but not very close to the original imho :)
Looks like its fun to skin if you have a good UV layout so Rebel_Scum, dont dare to post front/side/top/bottom/back-screenshots lol :mrgreen:



oh btw.. where is the trigger xD i cant make out one on any of the pics ?!?

Maybe you should write a tutorial, Qdin? Since i didint find any good tuts on UV-mapping in XSI. ;)

Yeah, I didn't now that you could stamp the UV map to an image until I read this topic! Talk about feeling stupid.

Yeah, but how the heck do you do it? LoL. Guess I'll have a look in the tutorials.

@rebel_scum: That's really nice! It resembles the Jedi Outcast weapon really well.

Thanks guys, I think im gonna make the barrel longer and add the trigger once I get back, And Ill ask Qdin about the UV mapping.


Edit: I had some time to come home since the game ended earlier than expected, so I quickly added the trigger

well you can find a pic of the trigger in JK:JO for sure, but i dont think its worth the effort.. Looks fine to me, maybe meke it a tad smaller to leave more space for the rest of the hand ;)

As a matter of fact, I once did.

The big topic was made by Kyross, and Rends tributed as well with a short side-tut as well :wink:

But it all got lost here a long time ago when the Gametoast Server suddenly lost hundreds of topics.. this was one of them... :cry:

Well Im back, Ill make it a lil smaller, no biggie :) Ill ask Qdin what the UV stuff is and give it/or w/e to Jabba.

Yes we all can dream :)

Is it possible for the left click/standard fire to be shotgun(yellow laser) while right click(instead of throwing a thermal) using the mortor launchers animation will fire 2/3 concussion(or yellow) nades?

if not, you can probably solve the problem like Majin did with the DC17 in his maps, by simply making 2 different weapons (same model of course). One firing small bolts and one firing some nades.

well at least i dont believe you can make it fire with the right mousebutton (RMB), since the secondary weapon is on RMB. Maybe it works with the middle button, but i have no clue lol.

is there any weapon that has 2 firemodes in swbf2?
