You're still adding this to Gametoast 4 right? If so, this is exactly what we want to be included, nice job.

If not, nice job anyway ;)

hey, this map is looking awesome! Judging by the screenshots this is gonna be one i download immediately.
Does the CIS shield generator actually... put a shield around anything? Maybe you could have a CIS base that is secluded from the rest of the battle and the CP is "inactive." When the republic destroy the Shield generator you could make the CIS base come "online" and activate that CP. Just a thought. I don't know if you do this with scripting or what

Hmm I don't know about an 'inactive base' but you're right the shield generator should put a shield up. Maybe I could find one in the Naboo assets for SWBF1.

Darth_Z13, IMHO, you're starting way to many projects...I'd prefer if you would bring one of your glorious ideas to the end instead of working parallely...but that's your choice, and If can work better when doing multi-tasking, I won't complain.

What I can see looks pretty cool, it is just that the AATs could need a little reskin. The should be gray, like the droid sniper.

Sweet mother....omg, A6 jugger. Will the map be too big? Im always afraid of this type of problem...

Although I, agree XxDepredationxX It's the map and the time/effort put into the map that counts. (But I also Agree Giant maps are kinda boring and hard to win)

Z13, maybe you should use JawaKiller and Dragonum's Juggernaut. :? It looks really great so far (its about time someone used those skins  )! I would reccomend reskinning the tatooine buildings, the AAT, and the STAP. You should also try to use some of Eddie's Nelvaan objects. :)

hmm, its all up to Darth_Z13, but I don't think the buildings really need a reskin. If you just pile some snow up around them like you did with the Clone Tank (don't know what its called) it should look fine.

But the AATs would look pretty awesome if you put some kinda grey skin on em... or white even 8) .

No the map isn't uber big so no need to worry about that. And trainmaster, that is Jawakiller's and Dragonum Juggernaut, hence this picture:

Yes I still need to reskin a few more things.

@Pulch, I know I do have a few on-the-go but right now I'm going to be concentrating on Toola for the Comp and when it's entered I'll finish up Lehon(?) and the Temple.

And train, what skins? Do you mean the clone troopers or the CIS? Because I made the Clone skins myself...

Yes I know, but I've seen many maps that looked very nice in the screen shots and after I downloaded it I can only see 1 droid walking in the battlefield...

@Darth_Z13
Yay its not huge, if its Hoth size then I like it, and its snow and white its so relaxing <3

Cool 8) map !!!
RC-1290

Post by RC-1290 »

looks nice, but I think it's a bit... empty? YES I KNOW, the desert I'm making in the siege of mos Eisley is quite empty as well at the moment, but I can't really find much in this map that I didn't have in the stock Hoth map. Exept that it has a nice style, really. Maybe I'm just missing something and maybe I'm just complaining too much, but I'm just asking myself, what does this add that the stock levels don't have, or, what is new (do you have objectives? I LOVE objectives) EXEPT for a nice style.

You could use a reskinned clone sharpshooter or engineer for commander keller

Yep he will be included but if there was a Keller model made, it would be even better.
