Okay, got the S.W.A.T hero successfully ingame without any bugs. Primary weapon is the Beneli shotgun, secondary is the MGL, which is sooo sick btw, C4 is the explosive, ingame pics of that as well. And of course, what is a sick hero without a Desert Eagle pistol?

Let me know what you guys think. I am now pretty much done with all the units on both sides and pretty much the entire game mode. Will now procede to work on Zombie Deathmatch which will be pretty quick since I already made all the Nat. Guard units and can just load all their .req files in the zombie lua. I'm also going to set up a new layer in Zeroeditor and put some SWAT and Nat. Guard corpses on the streets since the Zombie assault takes place after the convict battle and put blood stains on the streets as well. :maulsaber: I'm also thinking of some red steam rising from the storm drains too. Either way, I think you guys will enjoy it. :wink:

Why is half of the SWCU's face darkened like that? Is that a balaclava? You should make it darker, it sort of looks like a beard right now.

Excellent work Elfie. . .I like explosions 8)

Are you going to have just like one zombie unit?

You should make one carrying a stick or something or one that takes more damage maybe.

For zombie mode consider this, about a week after the battle a group of citizens has come back to the city and the guard/swat are paking up. However the zombies strike and the poor souls find themselves under attack. Fortunantly a medic sends a call to the regional command for help and a second unit of Swat/Guard is dispatched. The commanders find a small group, desperate soliders and helpless citizens, holding up in an industrial building.

Will post more once I get the chance.

Oh it gets better my friend. I say that there should be 1 living cp with some national guard grunts and snipers inside it. As well as cops armed with pistols and a local species called "desperate citizens" armed with clubs (scaled down lightsaber so that it would take ten hits to kill a zombie). The Dead have 5 cps spread across town so that it can be the zombies coming from all angles, but not swamping the living. Of course this could prove problamatic because zombies should be harder to kill then most targets. So the swat have a convoy with several trucks set up at another cp. This way a group of vehicles with substantial fire support can come rolling up for a rescue. It is up to the player to hold out until they show up.

So then, you're call elfie.

So you are basically suggesting that he makes a campaign instead of a hunt. That's not a bad idea at all but it adds a lot more work to be done and apparently, the map is already in it's final stages of development.

Hmm, maybe a Dark Times Hoth Wave Mode-like mission.

Well elfiee can use any parts of my idea but what I am generally saying is this.

Plenty of Dead spread across town.

Living holed up in a building/ building complex

Civilian or only lightly armed local species.

Something that can give the living an edge, but it doesn't start right there.

These sound like very good ideas. I was actually planning on having civilians in the map, with just normal earth skins and invisible fusion cutters as their only weapon, instead of clubs as you suggested. The Nat. Guard will be friendly to them, but the Zombies will not. I was also planning on keeping the number of new units I have to a minimum, though, just because it adds a lot of MBs to the maps size. I will probably only have 1 maybe 2 zombie units because of this. Also, as Nihillo said, I am planning on releasing this map within the next couple months: Late May- Early June, so because of this I need a fairly simple zombie mode, and a campaign would not only take longer, but would require a higher skill level than I have also.

Another note on the Zombie Mode: I have just set up all the needed ZE layers, I am starting to work on the Zombie Lua, and I fixed a major problem in the SWAT vs. Conv. mode, which was that there was no music!
I should have pics of the Zombie Mode reasonably soon. I just need to finish up a few parts and then I will start setting up the loadscreens, the Zombie mode will have it's own, custom era names, localizations, and hud problems. Then look to see a beta within 3-4 weeks, as well as a preview video to be made by wonderful Nova Hawk! :D Thanks for staying with me guys, you will like the end result I am sure.

Either I missed something or I. . .missed something, but I didn't know there was going to be a campaign, very cool I love campaigns!!

I guess I wasn't clear before, but no there will be no campaign, only zombies. Speaking of which, I am planning on getting a zombie combo and or skin and msh from someone I gave some of my models to, so there will be an even sweeter zombie mode now.

Also, the map has been on hold since this past weekend, as I have been busy with some stuff. That is why I still don't have zombie pics up yet incase you were wondering.

@Smug, I wasn't planning on using mines, but if I do I may make a claymore, although I don't think S.W.A.T or Nat Guard uses them.

And @Delta578 - Once I have the zombie mode functioning ingame, I am going to send you the map so you can work on the preview video. Look for it this weekend. :D
