Replacing a unit with another unit
I would like to replace the assault droid with a super battle droid, how can I do that with a hex editor?

well I thought if you go into the mission.lvl and replace cis_inf_rocketeer with cis_inf_rifleman it would work, well I tried it and it didnt work, but it should because I downloaded a mod that replaces cis_inf_rifleman with cis_inf_marine and it works....

ya, I want the mod tools but everytime I try and download the mod tools my computer freezes up, so I have no choice but to mod a different way. Well anyway, I replaced cis_inf_rocketeer with cis_inf_rifleman and I still see the assault droid when I play the game.

I don't think you can have the same unit on the unit list more than once, so have you tried to replace the super battledroid first?

Yes. The Super battle droid is replaced with the droid marine (I'm not the one who edited that, its just a mod that I downloaded). And now I want to replace the assault droid with the super battle droid. So I went in the mission.lvl and wrote cis_inf_rifleman over cis_inf_rocketeer and the super battle droid wont show up when I play any of the maps.

How is that even possible, most, if not all clone wars era maps have super battle droids as the rifleman. What is the point of replacing the Assault Droid with it?

Re: Replacing a unit with another unit
Because I have replaced the super battle droid with the droid marine and I want to fit the super battle droid somewhere else. So I just want to replace the assualt droid with the super battle droid.

Why not just replace assualt with marine, so the SBD stays . . .
