Off-topic : Since this thread may allow the inserting of message supplying either Comments or Suggestions regarding most of the Technical Specifications having been shared so far through it, I would like to remind allGameToast members having a look at it that ASUSTeK Computer® is way far from being the most reliable and profitable Manufacturer of Components and Devices primarily intended towards High-End Platforms, and that's why I would so highlight the valuable Aspect of the Products being engineered by Micro-Star International, which is especially applicable towards Internal Components built for Personal Computers, although the Final Cost of these same Designs are rather high compared to ASUS® Equivalent ones...
Euh this might sound stupid but when searching for ASUSTeK you automaticly get the normal Asus site, so actually their both the same, so it doesn't make sense saying that they are more expensive because Asus and ASUSTeK are actually the same company.
Off-topic : I do not call into question the fact a significant part of the Internal Components designed and manufactured by ASUSTeK Computer® has chances to work properly once the concerned Products would begin to be exploited by their multiple Purchasers, but I have never ceased noticing that both the Lifespan and Completion of these same Designs were way inferior to those inherent to Equivalent ones engineered by Micro-Star International, and that's why I cannot help preferring this last Brand instead of ASUS®, although this last Company has been mostly appreciated by the persons ordering all sorts of available Cards or Devices to it...
Off-topic : That's once again way far from being Wrong, but you mustn't forget that if ASUSTeK Computer® is able to propose its latest Components and Devices at comparable Prices, then it is somewhat related towards the fact the Completion of these same Products is usually less appreciable and resistant than the one inherent to Designs engineered by other similar Companies, which has nevertheless not prevented ASUS® from conceiving and releasing Motherboards offering a Great Potential and Performances inappreciable on the ones generated by ABIT®, Gigabyte®, DFI®, etc...
Off-topic : You see, even though you had not clearly precised that the first List referring to Technical Specifications being more or less accessible towards Home or even Professional Consumers was based on "Fictitious" and Devised Elements, then I would not have been that surprised to learn about the existence of Components and Devices comparable to the implicated ones. Indeed, although the Measurement Units you have referred to so far might be somewhat misspelled, I would like to inform you that Hard-Drives taking advantage out of the Holographic / Perpendicular Data Storage are being currently developped and made as much wide-spread as possible, which should sooner or later favour the producing of ones whose Available Size might exceed several TeraBytes or even PetaBytes...

i am going to buy me some new components, too.
motherboard same as yours. with a chipset like 945 or 955 i suggest to buy an intel pentium d 805 which you can (only with these chipsets) overclock to 3,8 or 4,0 GHz and if you have water cooling even to 4,1 GHz and it runs stable. i personally think 3,8GHz are enough.
the price including cooler is only around 130 usd.
Off-topic : I seriously doubt that advising around GameToast members to enhance the Functioning Frequencies of the INTEL® Processor you have mentioned previously was the most valuable choice to make opposite someone who would want to order brand-new Components intended to serve as longly as possible. Indeed, we both know that although recent and efficient Cooling Systems can successfully held a constant Temperature onto the aimed Central Processing Unit, the Internal Architecture, Structure and Transistors embedded into it are way far from being able to bear such Use Conditions during a prolonged Time Period...
Hey all, I just bought an awesome video card on clearance at Maplin's. I can't find it on Newegg, but I'll keep looking. If anyone wants to do some digging, it's an nVidia GeForce 7300 GS with 512MB of memory and PCI-E support. It runs these games like a dream at full resolution and full detail, including AA:

Battlefront 1 & 2
Battlefield 2
Far Cry
Republic Commando
Empire at War
Matrix: Path of Neo
KOTOR
Since I'm sure most of the PC users here have most, at least some of these games, I think that this card is a good recommendation. If you can find it, that is.

hey Tao,you sure u setted everything up to highest for Battlefield 2? If you're sure, im getting that.
Oh, one thing I forgot to mention; Battlefield 2 only supports 2xAA on this card. It's still full-spec, since you can't choose anything higher, but I felt I should let you know. Everything runs on full settings.
Off-topic : I have to say I have been rather amazed to learn about the fact the Graphics Card you have previously ordered and installed could ship with such an Amount of Video Memory, and that's why I guess it must be embedded with the nVidia® Dynamic Technology called "TurboCache", and if that's indeed proven, then I would be ready to bet attempting to play Video Games way more recent than those you have mentioned previously could become somewhat unappreciable and even frustrating...
