okay, here's the scoop:
My friend is getting into modding and he is having a problem (he would create his own profile but it won't accept his E-mail)
All he has done so far is edit the terrain height, and deleted the old command posts and replaced them with new ones. I have double and triple checked all the regions, paths, and text fields. It is all good.
When we test the map though there are no command posts, no spawnability.

The first one should be the problem. He may have deleted/moved/did something to shell.req, which may be the problem.

Hmmm...his munge log has lot of sound errors. For the email thing, is he using Yahoo? GT doesn't accept yahoo. Tell him to get a email account at www.Gmail.com.

Sound errors are fine, I get those every time and the sound is problemless.
He has touched Nothing exept for the Zeroeditor stuff.
Shell has had no modifications made to it. THanks for suggestions though. :D

The problem is that you are munging everything. When starting out, you only munge with Common checked. Everything else should be unselected.

Do the clean that Teancum says, then from then on, only munge with Common checked.

EDIT: I mentioned the patch thing because I know that without the patch you have less mod support. My mods, when played w/o patch 1.1, are all strange and stuff. :runaway:

If his reasons have ANYTHING to do with overpowered 1.0 Vaders (not that they arent in 1.1, lolololol), tell him to switch to 1.1 NAO :P . I personally think modding on 1.0 isn't a very good idea. You definately don't get the results you want at times, and it rarely works at all.
