What do these errors mean?

Post by Havoc 526 »

I got all these errors in my PC_mungelog that I could not find in the log error explanations. Don't rightly know what they mean:

ERROR[PC_modelmunge msh\rep_weap_inf_dc15carbine.msh]:computing tangent vectors: determinant is zero!

ERROR[PC_modelmunge msh\weap_acp.msh]:_ReduceShadowMesh: edge->twin->next does not share vertex!

ERROR[levelpack shell.req]:Input file shell.req does not exist. [continuing]

I have never seen these errors before...Help or advice would be most appreciated. :faint:

The warning I've gotten a few times myself: warnings can be ignored, for the most part.

The errors I've never seen before either.

Well, for the last one, stop trying to munge the shell and you'll do fine.....

Do these munge errors crash your map in any way? If not, just ignore them.

Wait, was that third error there the last I looked? And...the warning vanished. Eh.

Yes, DRK is correct. That's a shell error that shouldn't bother you much, but there's no point in munging the shell unless you changed it, and that's for.....for what, custom movies in the background? Something like that?

And pardon the shorthand, DarthRougeKnight, but I didn't feel like spelling your whole name. :wink:
