I prefer Nintendo games in general so it's the Wii for me.

As someone who has used all of them, I think the 360 had the easiest startup and the easiest menu screen (and it has Halo 3, of course), the Wii has a great way to play, an easy interface, but most of its games are lacking graphically. The PS3 has good graphics and Blu-Ray. That's it.

360 is the best IMO.

Wii I hated it but It's growing on me I'll give it the rank of OK. even though the motions sensors aren't the greatest. But it is the only console with them.

PS3. Just an over priced paper weight.

i also like the wii cuz of the way it involves your whole body insted of just your fingers but it dosent have too many good action games

I haven't had a chance to use any of them, but if I ever do decide to buy one, I'm leaning towards the Wii because the price is right and it provides a unique way to play. I've also always liked Nintendo more as a company in general for some reason, probably because they tend to aim towards a more universal, family friendly audience.

Why does everyone talk-down the PS3?

I have to disagree with you Fusion, I love Warhawk and Motorstorm


In all these games the sensor is really accurate and it's a slew of fun tearing through a canyon or a huge map in Warhawk

Have any of you played it more than 10 minutes? The only complaint I have with it, is that it overheats. but so does the 360

I have to say the 360 is great (other than the fact Microsoft made it), and the Wii is a slew of fun with other people.... I had no fun with it myself

Definitely the 360. It's got some great exclusives, bar-none the best online play, and the most comfortable controllers. Wiis are great for partying, but like someone else said they aren't as fun by yourself. PS3's aren't a bad console, they just don't have that "I gotta buy a PS3 to play that game" game and the console is ridiculously expensive. Blu-ray player or no, I'll never shell out 500 bones for a console. I can build a new PC for that.

I'll agree with that, except, do you have to play for the online gaming on the 360? or is that just for it's "store"

Only in rare cases. An upgrade from a system of using 2d sprites to using 3d models may improve gameplay, but in general, gameplay is unaffected by graphics. Higher-poly models, more light bloom, and better physics may make a game look pretty, but it's going to play exactly the same as it would with worse graphics.

Ah, I gotta say wii, though I don't think developers have taken full advantage of it's unique features.

But if the debate is between 360 and ps3, i would have to say 360. Better online, better games, and not so darn expensive.

I wanted to play the more recent games, and my father liked the idea of getting a blu-ray player So he offered to fund me toward a PS3 So, I took up the offer... He didn't want me to "waste" any more money on a PC... Even though the last "upgrade" was about 2 years ago And everyone in this house hates Microsoft.. and the fact that I haven't heard anything but bad stories about the 360 here, too many red rings of death and overheating problems........


I loved the support we've had in the past with Sony, so we bought a PS3

Nintendo has great customer service, awesome multiplayer, and has always been quite innovative.
And plus they offer family games so I'm not so worried about what my parents would think of video game X.

Overheating and red-ring are hardly problems. Just cool off the X-box, and if you get a 3 or more red ring, smother it in towels until it overheats and then cool it off.

If you do get 3+ rings, I do suggest at least contacting Microsoft after doing the Towel Trick.
