There ya go I got Magna's working as normal classes instead of heros :)

All magna's now have dual lightsabers untill we get a decent magna staff, and they are using Maul's animations which makes them fight just like Magnas :D


Vyse - The reason the Magna's were rejecting Maul's sabre and animation is because of the skeleton overrite in thier ODF... remove the skeleton specifications from the odf and it will work :D

can u tell me how to make a new side? i made 1000 sides in swbf1 but in swbf2 i have problems....

OOM', the fact you've succeeded in giving Darth Maul's animations to Holowan Mechanicals IG-100 Droids reminded something psych0fred told me a while ago about Star Wars Battlefront II memory limitations... Therefore, I'd wish to know how many upgraded MagnaGuards you've been able to call simultaneously...

haven't tried that yet, I was just making ONE Magna to replace the old crappy ones, I wanted to make the Magna Guard more like the ones in the movie, so Maul's Anims are perfect, and for now the double sabre just has to fill in.

Once we have a good stave model he will be almost perfect, then if our modeling friends learn how to add cloth nodes/attechments zones, we can slap Anikin's cloak on it and boom, Magna Guard.

Anyone willing to make a Magna Staff for ARC: RV send me a PM...

Therefore I haven't tried multiply edits of the Magna in one side...

Thanks for the info on the skeleton!

I don't know if you can get the full cloak working with the Magna Droid's mesh. It apprears (I don't know for sure) that Anakins mesh may of had special Null or something for the cloth to attach to! I tried cloaking the Sith Apprentice and it didn't work, of course that was when I wasn't sure how to get it working. Lets hope the cloack works with other meshes. :wink:

Nah we will have to edit the mesh file to add the cloth attachments, they are built into the models themselves and aren't transferable like the old Vader Capes... :(

OMFG, that look awesome! Looks just like Revan! Perfect. Great job, Vyse. This looks awesome. Sheesh... Revan, the Sith Apprentice, Magna Guard Jedis... what's next, eh?

I see the possibility of a KotOR map... :D

You'll be releasing the units publically, right? Because I'd like to try my hand at making a KotOR-era map. With these units, it'd make it a whole lot better.

if there was a way to decompile the magna guard mesh file the cape could be added, if not i think a new model might be best. also, is that revan ported? cause bioware is VERY strict about that and people got threatened to be sued for portin them to JA and all the ports were taken off of all sites by bioware, it was very serious.

lol its not a port! (but I am glad it looks like the orginal) Its Anakin cloaked msh retextured. I hope that having textures that look like licensed characters is legal. :?

A side note I will be showing a new Sith Lord tommorow....

Holy effing spit. Carpness.

Looks fuggin awesome. It makes me cry so awesome. I'd suggest two lightsabers for Revan, though, and tehn Aayla's animations because that makes him that much more powerfull.
