Would a map crash if the score zone for one team was removed?

I'd prefer not to try this because the mapper is incompetent (Desert Hound).

It would be like keep-away, one team tries to stop the other from scoring.

like team 1 can score, and team 2 has to stop them from scoring (or capturing some object like a flag.) he wants to know if he can remove a score zone from team 2, that way its only team 1 that can score, and hes wondering if removing the score zone would crash the game.

Got that part - but are we talking a CTF variant, or to make it so that only one team can capture a CP in Conquest, or something else.

Let's say I remove the Republic score zone and gave them other objectives. Would this crash the game, or just not allow the Republic to score?

Can both teams capture the flag in campaigns? No. I'd say that you should be fine.
