Shadow Trooper Skinning Problems Please Help!
Ok so lately I was playing SWTFU and got the idea to make a Shadow Trooper for SWBF2. This is my first ever side for that I am going to create with weapons and all that, so I am in need of some help with different things. I am trying to get the stormtrooper stock skin which is white turn black but there is always a hint of white and doesn't look good. Is there any way so you can turn the skin to black without that white hint in the black? Thanks for the help in advance. :stormie:

That's exactly what I do but there is still the white hint. Is there way where you can change the white on the stormtrooper armor to black? Thanks

I suggest you learn the tools and techniques of whatever image editing program you are using. I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials out there so just do a search.

Okay It looks exactly like that picture no matter how dark you put it. I have made 7 different versions of the skin but the white in the black doesn't make it look good. Also do you know how to make it look like a shiny black too? GIMP's blend tool isn't so great.

id use color>curves tool
but for the future you should mess around with all the tools and filters, or search for gimp tutorials like AQT already said, cause its kinda inconvenient for everyone everybody made topics asking how to achieve a certain effect in gimp or photoshop or whatever
