One qualm, more of a suggestion, really. If you're pushing this as "What Pandemic would do, but better," can we at least fix the stormtrooper helmet? That's the one model that's always bugged me is how elongated and not-movie-like it is.

I already am using a model with the fixed helmet. :?

Huh, guess the angle of the shots still made it look flat and elongated.

They're probably old shots from before the new model was implemented.

It looks good! I'm glad that someone still tries to improve the stock sides instead of just making an era mod. I'd just prefer to see Cold Assault Troopers instead as the snow legion. Galactic Marines are in nearly every mod which introduces new legions. Good job anyway!

No, I have always used Codarez's fixed model. His is on the far left.

No Thanks on the Planet textures, a friend of mine makes planet textures for EaW, and I might use those.

And I had thought about new modes: We'll see. To me only one mode matters, and that's conquest. I already have one other mode planned, but that's secret for now. I thought of wave mode, since it was one of Mav's favorite modes and a lot of other people liked it including me.

What is "Pandemicy" to you then?


I never saw the allure of CTF modes, and that's really all I'm leaving out, unless of course you count hunt mode, which I also never found all that fun. I will have the hero assualt on Mos Eisly however.


If I were to include Hunt Mode, or something like it, I would want to do it my way. With a larger side selection rather than just one or two units per side. Which is what bothered me about hunt mode.

"Battlefront 3 mod" seems pretty ostentatious. At this point the only thing that could make the game SWBF3-ish is a major visual upgrade. Without that it's just another side tweak mod. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just not what I would envision from a SWBF3 mod. To me it's basically a full mega-HD makeover.

I understand completely. Something I should have mentioned before is that it's what I think BF3 would have looked like, in 2006. I should have mentioned that from the start.

Hmmm...maybe some new models...of EVERYTHING is in order. However you plan to take it, this is a mod I will be watching with interest.

Maybe. We'll see.

A side note about this mod:
The difficulty level between Normal and Elite is very noticeable. If you want a more standard match, you will want to use Normal. When set to Elite, the AI are noticeably (and painfully) more accurate. I find both fun, as Elite is more of a challenge.

Lumiya will be one of the heroes for the Empire.

How will he be set up? I mean, he's different in different games, sometimes he's a Jedi, and sometimes a gunner...

He will be a gunner, not a jedi.
