How do I prevent vehicles from "bleeding"? [Solved]

Post by SkinnyODST »

I have this problem where even though I think i`ve done everything right, the vehicles on my map always do that "health bleed" thing as if the CP they belong to got captured...even though it hasn`t. So to not only fix that but also make it a little bit more realistic, I wish to know how I can completely stop them from "Bleeding" when left out on the battlefield. But I DO want them to bleed when the CP`s been captured. I`m quite sure I can do that in ZE when editing the vehicle spawns, but I don`t really understand what each one does.

Change the size of said CP's control region to cover the entire map.

Alternatively, on each vehicle spawn set ExpireTimeEnemy, ExpireTimeField, and DecayTime slots to something silly like 9999. This will see to it that vehicles never ever die unless they've actually been killed.

A bit late to reply but what do each of those DO? As in what do they all mean and how do they effect the vehicles?

ExpireTimeField is when the vehicle is used and then abandoned
ExpireTimeEnemy is how long spawned (untouched) vehicles live when a CP gets captured
DecayTime ... not sure, sorry.
