PSP Battlefront 2 and core.lvl [Solved]

PSP Battlefront 2 and core.lvl [Solved]

I am trying but can't get a core.lvl to work, correctly, on PSP. With the new file, correctly added entries show up as blank lines/blank spaces.
If I don't use a new core.lvl maps and modes look like [NULL] and mode.name.description

I've tried to use several variations of core.req to produce a new file, while each one works new entries aren't being shown.
Something else I don't get is that - with that new core.lvl not working, shouldn't everything be unlocalized? Why might it just be the newly added entries?

Are you running the PAL version of the game? If so you'll have to localize the British English, too.

I am not sure how to tell if I am using PAL. I will report back after checking game version and trying the right one (if it's the issue)

Check the game ID. The US version's ID is ULUS-10053. The EU version is ULES-00183.

Wow. I have the EU game, I don't even know of a difference. I still need to find a USA iso (probably the limit on what we can discuss here) I will add solved to the topic name when I fix it.

Yep, that was it. Thanks a million Tean and Dylan!! :thumbs:

That was the last hard part for my psp projects. All the is left is lots of trial and error to fix the unused maps.
