I'd say about this much done

sides and worlds: 99%
mission luas: 80%
localization and common.lvl: 99%
era scripts: 40% done
visual patch for stock sides: 25% done

and as far as Bamdur's animating job goes, he last said that he was almost done with the new animations.

@cody. i think you asked this already previously i don't mind, but if you ask frequently i will :P.

When you say era scripts does that mean you are adding(Well having maps with them) eras?

I'm now working on making this into the closest thing one can possibly make of a BF1 era mod.

I took the mission list lua and used parts of it in an addme lua to try an make this possible
What will happen:
in the instant action menu each map will have another version of that map under it, marked as part of the mod, with an era label

example
eras/modes
Force Unleashed Era. label: TFU (still being worked on, but what has been created so far seems to work for the most part)
Hunt Mode. Label: HNT (perfect)
The main mod. label: MOD (this is what i've been working on for the past months and the main part of this mod)
Hero Assault. Label: hero (still need to improve all the heroes)
Order 66 mode. Label: ORD (works perfectly, need to get clones vs. jedi isntead of stormies vs. jedi)

Doing this will allow me and those who download this mod to retain the stock sides for multiplayer compatibility. For the stock sides I've releasing a visual patch that just replaces stock models with improved ones (ie. the regular rebel pistol becomes a dh17 and the republic rifle becomes a dc-15 carbine) and a common.lvl fix which is required for the mod in its entirety.
Have you been successful in creating new icons for the eras? And BTW, where can I this missionlist.lua and how do you compile it and get it into the game?

if you want to change the shell.lvl,
change missionlist.lua

munge

reinsert the missionlist.script into the shell.lvl

ya

Animations Update: Idle: Done
Saber: done
Rifle Shoot: 40%
unused animation bank-turned into a stab animation: 30%
pistol: done

no, i can't get the icons working. they aren't new eras in the sense that BF2's eras work (ie. one map with all eras listed), but they are as close to i can get it. eras are hardcoded into the BF1 exe and therefore you technically can't create completley new eras with new icons. What i did was just a shell hack by using an addme lua. for more reference, have a look at my topic about it. that should answer most of you questions

He means there is a new era v=but you will not be able to chose it from the same map that has GCW and CW eras on it'll be on a different map below the other one.

B2 Rocket-Pack Droid: Wrist Blaster, Wrist Heavy Blaster, Wrist Rocket, Time Bomb
Trandoshan Commando: SC Blaster Rifle, Radiation Rocket Launcher x6, Time Bomb, Gravity Grenade

Rebels
Militia/Rebel Bombadier: EE-3 Carbine, Wrist Homing Rocket x3, Artilerry Strike (drops an unmanned hovernaut loaded with explosives x2, Remote Charge x2

Imperials
Shocktrooper: E-11 Blaster Rifle x550, PLX-2M Multi-Rocket Launcher x24 (fires 4 at a time, does a little damage with 1 rocket, and tons of damage with 4)

Republic sides were upgraded in terms of skins, and models only.

Yah, the original ones can be found in the common/interface source files. I was wondering if there could be a place for a new era to reference new icons.

nope sorry, like i said, eras are hardcoded. You can however, swap and replace icons.
