Hi! in the normal campaing, in the space of coruscant, the droid fighters come to the battle from the far scene like this: my questions:

Is it a invisible capital ship and hanger?
spawns in the space?
or "appears" by code in the .LUA?
How can I fix it in my map?

i think space maps do that normally with both factions check the stock SP non campaign space maps. the only other way to think of it is to spawn a player and then force the player into the ship but there's no code like that in any of the space maps

That always happens, normal, they spawn inside the death region but enought close to reach it out.

what I am trying to say is if they are flying in space or in the hangar and then fly over there. it also happens in the space of Yavin in normal campaign. the flyers seem to "get out" of the planet, not the hangar of the ship.

Thats normal, they just spawn, theres no hangar or CS`s there, you would see the landed ships, now try to fly on Coruscant campaing space, and then go down, like of you were fliying to the Lukrehulk ships, and activate the emeny icons, you will see some ones appering from the nowhere,
i saw this on all the space maps.

I have never made a space map, but i am sure it may be in the scripts, possibly the lua`s, but better wait for an advice of an experienced modder, just check the space, scripts

I myself have seen this happen, it is absolutely normal, and there is no efficient way to control it that I know of. I have not checked entirely through the scripts to see if it's scripted in but I have noticed that:


1. The AI fighters who spawn "on the planet" spawn according to what seems to be the amount of cps per side, for example lets say the CIS has 3 cps and the Republic has 1, 3 times as many CIS fighters will spawn "on the planet"

2. The kinds of fighters spawning goes by the ratio that you have of vehicle spawns, say you have 3 Arc-170s per hangar and 1 V-wing, 3 times as many Arc-170s will spawn "on the planet"

3. The spawn seem to follow the player, so it's kind of like a command vehicle, except you are spawning fighters


That's what I have noticed happens with the "on the planet" spawns, if someone has found this in the scripts please correct me but if not then I suppose this information is the best it gets.
