Hardpoint Hierarchy

Under what do you put the null in xsi to make a hardpoint? I assume it's dummyroot, but I'm not positive, so I figured I'd ask. Thanks!

Depends on what you're making. If it's just a prop with no moving parts, and you want a null for an effect emmiter or something, yes, just under the dummyroot is fine.

Alright, thanks a lot. That's what I figured, and I exported, and now I have a strange problem. The effect I'm trying to attach is munged, but my error log keeps telling me it can't find the effect. I just put it in an "effects" folder right next to msh and odf, but it's not working. Have I done something wrong with a typo, or is it I'm supposed to put it somewhere else?
