Battlefront crashing when I try to use the map I made

When I tried to munge my map, a message turned up on Notepad.
It said: "ERROR[levelpack shell.req]:Input file shell.req does not exist. [continuing]
1 Errors 0 Warnings".
Then it went on to describe warnings and errors with all four factions.
Then when I tried to play Battlefront II, I selected my map. The map loaded and as soon as is it was done loading, Battlefront crashed. Does anybody know why that would be?

Do a manual clean, then when you remunge, do not select "Select All," only munge with Common checked (and any sides you need selected).

Did you munge absolutely everything? I get that shell thing every time that I munge so I don't think that's the problem (could be though) Run your modtools and try to play your map then give us your error log.

(In case you don't know how to do this, here's a short tutorial: Go to your BF2 Modtools folder and you should see a .exe somewhere in the main folder. Copy that over to your game's Gamedata folder and run it. After it crashes it will create a log called Bfront 2. Go in there copy everything and put it in a post here on Gametoast. But remember to use the hide function.)

I couldn't find an exe file. Can you tell me its path please?

Local Disk/BF2_Modtools
You will see the BF2 icon and the .exe is called modtools or something like that

No error message came up. I coppied it to gamedata, and when I ran it, Battlefront just closed. I didn't get any error message.

It doesn't come up with a message. You go to the Gamedata folder again and look for a .txt file and open it up. Copy it all and post it here.

Yes, that is it. It would seem your map has custom sides. Take them out and see if it works then. (unless you don't have custom sides... that could be a problem)

Okay, so it never says anything about custom sides. So my only guess would be that something is messed up with the shipped sides. Try playing a shipped map (e.g Death Star) and see if that works.
