Command Post Numbering
Hey, is there any way I can change the number of the CP that shows up on the mini map?
I want to try to change the following CP numbers.

I THINK the order that you add the command posts in the LUA determines their numbering, with the first one being 0, second one being 1, and so forth.

I'm just going to post this tiny little detail. You can't change maps that are already in battlefront; you need the unmunged files in order to make this change. It's a no-brainer piece of info but people have asked this sort of thing in the past.

Yes I am aware that you can't change battlefront stock maps. But anyways, I figured out how to re-number CP'slinksith wrote:I'm just going to post this tiny little detail. Hey, I wonder if you could type a word instead of a number. That might be cool. I'll investigate.

I was unaware that one could use that box for labeling the CP. It is an interesting side note to know and for modded like me. I would consider that a little relevant for the maps I'm working on (still).

I don't think words will work in the index. it's not a label, it just tells the game what order to process the objects in.

That would be cool if you could name command posts like this:

You could just fit that into the level's map texture.

Wait, wouldn't doing that make the words just go over the number but not cover it up, only making it harder to read?Marth8880 wrote:You could just fit that into the level's map texture.
