Looks like you didn't branch select dummyroot when exporting like the instructions told you to.

This isn't a pic of the model before exportation

My middle mouse doesnt work either, so I Shift+Click Dummyroot and the "bang" mesh with its hp_fire instead.

And is the hierarchy correct? THATS what I am aiming for.

I was talking about your munge error and not your pic, your hierarchy looks fine according to the image but that doesn't make a difference when you don't export it properly.

As posted many times before in this forum; if you want to see how a shipped weapon (or anything for that matter) is setup in XSI (hierarchy-wise) for SWBF2 then open the msh in Unwrap 3D.

Oh ic.

If so, I export(thru mshex) with the selection looking like this:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Image
(manual select cus my middle mouse button doesnt work)

Is this the correct selection? or do I have to select the scene root as well...

That selection should work, but since you're using MshEx i'm not sure as I don't use it.
You can also branch select by left clicking on dummyroot then pressing ctrl+T since your middle mouse button doesn't work.

As for the error, if you selected everything correctly then my guess is you went wrong with the Crosswalk exporting procedure and I believe this was outlined in the release topic for MshEx, just follow the instructions and keep trying.
